HIDALGO - Hello again everybody.

We are about 40 minutes away from the Bees (9-17-6) and Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs (21-7-3). The Bugs lead the Northeast Division by three points and have been one of the CHL’s hottest teams since the first two weeks of the season.

- Dennis Maxwell will not be in the lineup again tonight, or tomorrow. He told me he expects to be cleared to play Monday.

- Jeff Van Nynatten led the Bees out onto the ice, meaning he’s your goalie.

- This guy is also in the lineup tonight, wearing No. 29. I have to admit, it’s odd seeing that on the back of a jersey. I wonder how many other CHL players have their own Web sites.

- Not only do the Mudbugs have a dumb name (what is a Mudbug?), their uniforms are terrible. Their logo is mostly red and black, yet their uniforms are black with light blue and purple trim. Not cool.
